The theory of evolution.

Evolution is change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over successive generations. These characteristics are the expressions of genes that are passed on from parent to offspring during reproduction. To this matter one will almost always become familiar with Charles Darwin, perhaps the greatest of all contributors. As a naturalist, Darwin was not only responsible for the theory of evolution as we know it today, but also the foundation that biological sciences are based on. Modern humans originated in Africa within the past 200,000 years and evolved from their most likely recent common ancestor, Homo erectus, which means 'upright man' in Latin. Homo erectus is an extinct species of human that lived between 1.9 million and 135,000 years ago. As a fact we all believe different things so some of you may not believe the theory of evolution but some might. It is up to you to decide.

Auxins | The first major plant hormone.

Basically auxin is a growth promoting hormone present in plants which produce in the tops of the shoots and roots. Auxins stimulate cell elongation in stem and root. Due to this, the stem apex of plants turn towards light due to dissimilar cell elongation of stem. -Thats why plants always bend and grow towards light. Caption- A plant growing towards light.
