Abraham Lincoln

                                                  Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was an American statesman and lawyer who was the 16th president of the United States from 1861 until his assassination in 1865. Lincoln led the nation through the American Civil War, the country's greatest moral, constitutional, and political crisis. Mr. Lincoln was born in 1809, Kentucky, USA.  Abraham Lincoln is famous for the Gettysburg Address, abolishing slavery and being one of the four presidents who have been assassinated. Abraham's father remarried and, as the frontier expanded and became more populated, so the quality of life increased. Lincoln always defined the Civil War as a struggle to save the Union, but in January 1863 he nonetheless issued the Emancipation Proclamation, which freed all slaves in areas still under Confederate control. This was an important symbolic gesture that identified the Union's struggle as a war to end slavery. Lincoln proved to be a shrewd military strategist and a savvy leader: His Emancipation Proclamation paved the way for slavery's abolition, while his Gettysburg Address stands as one of the most famous pieces of oratory in American history. In 1865 he was Assassinated. The assassination of President Lincoln was just one part of a larger plot to decapitate the federal government of the U.S. after the Civil War. Lincoln never lived to enact this policy. He died the following morning on April 15, 1865. His successor Andrew Johnson assumed office and presided over Reconstruction. We truly wish if there is a great leader for us as Abraham Lincoln.

His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science.   He is also known for his discovery of the photoelectric effect, for which he won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1921. Einstein developed a theory of special and general relativity, which helped to complicate and expand upon theories that had been put forth by  Isaac Newton  over 200 years prior.  The maximum  IQ  score assigned by the WAIS-IV, a commonly-used test today, is 160. A score of 135 or above puts a person in the 99th percentile of the population. Hypnosis is  a human condition involving focused attention, reduced peripheral awareness, and an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestion. There are competing theories explaining hypnosis and related phenomena. Its a  trance-like state in which  you have heightened focus and concentration . Hypnosis is usually done with the help of a therapist using verbal repetition and mental images.  Not everyone can be hypnotized , but two thirds of adults can, and people who are easily hypnotized tend to be more trusting of others, more intuitive and more likely to get so caught up in a good movie or play that they forget they're watching one, Spiegel explains.  How is hypnosis done? During hypnosis, a trained hypnotist or hypnotherapist induces a state of intense concentration or focused attention. This is a guided process with verbal cues and repetition.
